Suzanne Hawkes is a facilitator, trainer and coach with the Rockwood Leadership Institute and a range of other not-for-profit clients. Her vision: a diverse cross-sectoral network of powerful, collaborative, service-oriented leaders working across difference to achieve transformational change. Her work focuses on the intersections of social justice, racial justice, progressive political engagement, and the environment. As part of the Rockwood team, Suzanne co-facilitates Fellowships for Women in Racial Justice, LGBTQ Advocacy, Racial and Gender Justice Leaders in HIV/AIDS Movement, the Pipeline Project for LGBQT leaders of color and Arts and Culture. 

Her other clients include Simon Fraser University’s Centre for Dialogue, the Advancement Project, Wellstone Action, the Inner Activist, Change.org, the Center for Progressive Leadership, Greenpeace International’s Climate Team, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, Wilburforce Foundation, The Nature Conservancy, and the David Suzuki Foundation.  Previously, she was co-founder of Canada’s first not-for-profit media and communications service and training center dedicated to supporting social change organizations.  Suzanne loves martial arts movies, contemporary dance, sci-fi, running, traveling, and her beautiful blended, chosen family in Vancouver, Canada.
